Lyko - Dixys used to be good but have gone downhill in the past few years. I've been eating chicken from there since around 2001. The prices have gone up, the portions are smaller and they are now arsy over how many tubs/sachets of sauce you can get. Oh an no more Rubicon drinks!

GG - that really does look dirty in the bad sense of the word. Not what you need on a Sunday afternoon.

My analysis:

The pizza has been through a conveyor grill, not an oven. This isn't acceptable.

The chips contain too many bad bits which suggests their QC isn't good enough. They also look anaemic possibly due to too low a temperature or premature removal.

Kebab looks good but not a patch on your other pictures.

I hope my criticism is taken as constructive. Thank you.

I agree Giblet, they used to be really good especially after a night out but for some reason they are trying to save money or something. They increase the price, you get less for your money now, the drinks are REALLY limited!!! However their sauce here is pretty good.

Dixys chilli sauce is still by far the best tasting I have had. Works perfectly with the chicken. I bought a bottle of it from the bloke behind the counter a few years back. The current takeaway guy refuses to sell me one or tell me where they buy it from.

That pizza, 2 portions of fries and a tub of mayo came to £6.57, via feedmeonline. They usually offer a minimum of 10% off at a bunch of takeaways.

All true. Won't be using them again but was only place that delivered on just eat at the time.
