I just found out that Pizza Hut are doing a pizza called "X-Tremely Cheesy" (a tie in with the X-men film), and it features cheese sauce instead of tomato sauce!

Ever since the HIGHLY addictive 'Philly Cheesesteak' pizza they did a number of years ago I'd been hoping for it to return, and this is the next closest thing! Just ordered one. I think I will be 'hitting the hut' a lot over the next week or two to make the most of this no doubt limited time offer...

Looks great! Add some pepperoni or something to that and I could demolish that right now!

Well, that was all a bit of a David Steel Liberal Democrat pre-election claim(*). And I like cheese.

Go on, OP, spill the beans.

* A bit of a disappointment, for those too young for Spitting Image quotes.

Slightly disappointed if I'm honest. The cheese sauce flavour isn't as good as I'd hoped, and it didn't help that they'd slightly undercooked the whole pizza, so the base was a little on the soft side which made it hard to pick up the slices.

Summary... it's ok, but nothing special. I'm devastated. frown

Safeway used to do a cheese sauce, super cheesy, cheese pizza in the 90's - it was the tits.

(Congrats on the campest ever thread title btw)

Have another try but tell them to cook it longer.

I'd want more goodies on it as said above, or it's just a big cheese on toast.

Why not just make your own rather than rushing out to buy a 'limited edition' pizza that has cheese sauce rather than tomato sauce?

You could have been enjoying such a pizza for years already, and could be for years into the future!

Asda to a quite tasty garlic chicken pizza from the deli counter. It's very nice indeed.

Have they done the "cheeseburger crown" pizza in the uk? Keep seeing it advertised, haven't tried one though
