The ONLY permittable crisp sandwich has to be properly council. Anything else is just trying to make it something it's not.

Cheap and nasty white bread, lashings of Clover and filled with Walkers Roast Chicken flavour crisps.

Culinary heaven.
Oh yes, for the win!

Perfect accompaniment would be a mug of builders tea, so strong it's almost orange with a couple of sugars, and to follow, one of those supermarket own brand creme caramel things.

Not a crisp sandwich but the OH went on at me for ages about eating milk chocolate and salt and vinegar crisps at the same time. Admittedly, does taste really nice.

Warburtons farmhouse with whatever you have.

Wotsits
Chilli heatwave Doritos
Hot Monster Munch
Another one for "Bacon Repeaters" - Frazzles though must be Smiths not those cheap imitations...

Where do you buy your Brannigan's from?

They're the greatest crisps ever, but I haven't seen them in ages frown
There is a small shop within Liverpool St station, down towards the entrance to the central line. I must admit they are tough to get hold of so was happy when I found my supply!!

I'll send you some biggrin
Don't mess about, get a 36 pack deleivered to the door.

I may have just done this myself...

The answer to many crisp questions is "Seabrook's Prawn Cocktail".

Not so sure.

Frazzles haven't been the same since the salt crusades.

Try the happy shopper equivalents, I've been pleasantly surprised.

Seabrooks Cheese and Onion, with Walkers Worcester Sauce, no Butter/Margarine but with a small amount of HP sauce spread on the bread.

That will be all.

Thats your 5 minutes up...

Fish finger sandwich is indeed the poor mans meal out when youre stuck in.

If it has to be a crisp, not a baked wheaty snack then good ol' ready salted all the way though we tend to buy the re-released "salt-n-shake" (our parrot loves them but must not eat salt) which means either a) No salt as you forget and leave the sachet in the bag b) finding the sachet in your mouth after a bite c) over salting with your own salt from home.
