I have some of the Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb and Ginger - also 20%. Let's face it, it's not really gin - but it is absolutely lovely, either with tonic or neat.
I think it’s bloody vile, to be honest. It’s far too sweet to be enjoyable.

Seems as good a place as any to show off my new gin balloons, they're massive, hold far too much and weigh a lot but I love them smile

I also got a bottle of that, plus some Admiral Collingwood navy strength from Silent Pool:

It's going to be a very happy new year, also like the look of the rhubarb gin posted above, rhubarb & gin is a match made in heaven.

Unlike a lot of men I can actually find the taste. My tongue is very well trained and developed wink

I've got some of the Edinburgh gin and have had since May. It's only been touched the once. You can have mine if you want.

Finishing off a bottle tonight with a slice of Grapefruit.

Hate throwing some of the prettier bottles away so keep them as candle holders but today I’ve made a lamp. I love lamp. And Gin.

That lamp looks great, can I ask how you made it?

Tries Tanquery No10 and Hendricks lately, Tanquery being marginally my favourite of the two at the moment with Fentimans tonic. Bought a couple of miniatures last night at Asda, tried Sipsmith last night and thought it OK but not as nice as the other 2 and have Martin Miller Dry to try tonight. Been recommended Brockmans too.

Thanks. This one was done with a set of wired LED battery operated lights. I’ve got loads of bottles out in my Gin Parlour (converted brick built barn/lady shed) and have since ordered these (approx .99p eBay) to use in order to avoid the bulky battery pack. There are also solar powered versions available

Hi there,

Got a bottle of this delivered from the brand owner last week as we are looking at importing it to the UK market.
Its pretty good just not sure how big the market for a strongly flavoured Old Tom style gin is,

Regards

Tim

what's been done to it to make it so dark in colour?

First attempt at Rhubarb Gin, lighting on the pic making the colour look a bit dicey but it's a mid sort of baby pink colour. Nice at the moment neat and will no doubt come along nicely for leaving to mellow I reckon.

Well, if my wife is to be believed, it makes Fever Tree tonic taste good - she usually hates the stuff.

On a cold night, in a not very well heated bar in Iceland it tasted fantastic. Not sure it would work so well on a Caribbean beach, to be fair.

Picked up this a couple of weeks ago:

Tea infused, rather like one of my favourites, Beefeater 24.

However, they've made the same mistake that I've seen in pretty much everything that's American Small Batch/ Artisan; forgetting that less is more, so it's very strongly flavoured, which detracts from it quite a bit. Interesting, but will remain a novelty.
