Well, I think this is my first post, 2 years after discovering the thread.
Normally if there's a takeaway going it's Chinese or Indian and looks nice, and so has no place in this thread.
However, there has been a little part of me that has been hankering after a Kebab. The local kebab shop was tried once and was abysmal, to the point I left over half of it.

I was brought up by Yorkshire folk. Any food left on the plate would have meant a clip round the ear and the same food re-presented at the next mealtime, so with that in mind you can imagine Just how grim it was.
So tonight I dropped the other half off in town and treated myself to the mixed doner in Pitta (naans are for curries)
Chicken tikka, tandoori chicken and doner meat, mild chilli sauce and garlic mayo, with a bit of lettuce on the top to stop the sauce wicking through the paper. Then a quick 30 minute drive home and I am devouring this

Awesome. You can even see and feel the teeth/bone fragments in the doner meat.
All washed down with Asda's '17 vintage strawberry milkshake.

I had this mutha last night. 8 pints of carling before, 3 after. Sorted mate.
Funny how that exact image appears on so many other websites -

Obvious troll continues his obvious trolling in yet another thread.
What a saddo.

Also, the Pepsi can gives it away.
What an odd thing to do!
hahah that is odd

and what's with the downing of pints added too
Carling is piss weak tasteless beer - seemed odd to brag about drinking 11 pints of the stuff - almost as if he had never done it or somehow thought that people would be impressed by such a feat.

30 minute drive with the kebab, must have been cold and soggy when you ate it.

Double wrapped, and minimal salad meant the it was fine. Once I got down to the doner meat in the bottom it was starting to cool ( I forgot to heat the plate it went on) so I must admit, that along with the crunchy bits this meant some of it got left, but I did give myself a clip round the ear for it. I will not be serving myself the leftovers for breakfast though smile

Now going through the post-kebab remorse phase which started after an hour and a half of eating - stomach cramps, and wind.
A mid-sleep wake up to defuzz the mouth lining with a can of 7 up, I am now at the stage of just trying to convince the other half that until certain events occur we perhaps shouldn't venture too far....

That does look very good indeed, if there was a cure for heart disease then I'd be eating that every night.

I know, why does no where local to me do anything like this. In fact that's probably a good thing!

They have got as far as London on their journey south. There are a couple of places around Brent Cross and Wembley where I have seen them.
