Dirty Takeaway Pictures Volume 3

Not a takeaway but I sometimes find putting photo's of my dinner on the dinner thread a bit awkward after someone puts up beef wellington or perfectly cooked cod.
It's based on the sunday lunch where you get sausages and gravy in a big yorkshire pudding, this is brie and polish hot dogs though. Would be good to add some chili or perhaps other meats as well.
When you get back from the pub on a night it takes less than 15 mins to do, including warming up the oven.
Kebab meat and curry sauce could be another combination.
Perhaps we need a PH dirty takeaway home attempt challenge?

That is probably the most horrendously sh*te plate of food I've ever set eyes on.

With naan and garlic bread.
^^^ is what a muchie box should look like. Donner, I'm assuming pakora underneath, and chips. Sauce over the top or outside the box in a wee pot. Sellotaped to the lid. With naan and garlic bread.
Some of the others on here are abominations. Filled with salad, or worse, sauce in a pot inside, taking up meat space. And as for Chinese munchie boxes, just no. Some of them have more beige than brown. If you take out the chips, rib bones, and the veggie spring rolls there's next to no meat in there at all. Disgusting.
A good Scottish invention being utterly ruined by everywhere else.

Chinese required! I've not found the name at the local, but I'm after an all in 1 noodle dish, so meat veg, noodles etc. Is that just "house noodles" or what?
Most places will have 'special chow mein' or a 'house special' version. The house special tends to be wet (like with a sauce) but some can be wet or dry. Also the house special tends to have larger pieces of meats/veg. So instead of tiny prawns you'll get larger ones. The trade off sometimes is that you might get less noodle if they stuff it into the same sized container as the regular special chow mein.but yes, the specials have everything in them.(except no pork in this case)
Vaud, Oh I think that's what I want, it's been so long since I just done noodles, I forgot about Singapore noodles. It's what I used to get at my last place. Looking at google images, Singapore seems correct to.
ambuletz, that's not what I want, so the above seems correct.
miniman, we're all disappointed in you, you're fired as chief Chinese food suggester.

singapore chow mein/rice noodles tends to be more like the 'special' chow mein/rice noodles but with teh addition of chillis/curry powdwer. indeed my favourite. make sure they make it hot! i'm always disappointed when they don't.
Meh, I like mine mild/medium. I can always add some nice (and this is a deviation from dirty takeaway but Foxes Spices do some very nice) chili flakes on the side to add heat... but you can't remove heat...illmonkey said:
All on you miniman, best be good
That'll be like the beansprout noodles but with the extras, I hope!
Well, you said "1 noodle dish, so meat veg, noodles etc" and the menu says "house noodles, chicken, beef, prawns & vegetables" so I figured, that one might have meat, veg, noodles etc. I back myself on this one. That'll be like the beansprout noodles but with the extras, I hope!
