I think this is worthy of being here.
24hr live stream of a doner being cooked. (not truely sure if it's 24/7 though). unfortunately it's not in the UK as they can't spell doner properly.

I think it would be good marketing if someone actually did that in the UK.
It's switched over to the "vegan stream" now - I still haven't seen them cut into anything, just a dry elephant leg spinning around in a hypnotic way. 24hr live stream of a doner being cooked. Better than most of the TV my wife watches.

Ended up in some place called Berlin Doner
Had a £9 feast box and it was beef elephants leg rather than lamb for some reason and chicken
With grilled carrots/veg and feta cheese, chips, salad and Taziki
It was odd, missed the lamb, but was different and filled a hole
Beef doner is pretty specific to Germany in the 1970s and now its branching out a bit. They usually don’t use pita either but more like a waffle bread or serve in a box without bread. Had a £9 feast box and it was beef elephants leg rather than lamb for some reason and chicken

In the early 1970s, restaurateur Peter Gamoulakos wanted to share the flavours of his homeland-Greece with the residents of Halifax by introducing the Gyro.
Peter soon realized that the taste of the traditional Gyro was not received well so he decided to make some adjustments. He replaced the lamb with a spiced ground beef and the tzatziki with a sweet sauce he created. This uniquely delicious combination of spice and sweet became what we now know as Donair meat and Donair sauce.
Peter perfected the Donair recipe in 1973 when he opened King of Donair on Quinpool Road in Halifax, Nova Scotia. King of Donair (KOD) would become the first Donair shop in all of Canada!
For over 40 years students, residents and visitors have come to KOD to experience their very first Donair. The Quinpool Road landmark still operates today serving the traditional tastes and spices of the original King of Donair recipe.

Chips from the Chinese are typically epic.
Really ok. World you have Chips with curry as well? Not sure about "Indian" curry, you don't really get an Indian takeaway that does Chippy style stuff. Not in my region anyway.
