It was cooked infront of us and seemed all fresh. didn't go for chili sauce, not sure of the repercussions! The duck being strangled half under water story comes to mind...

Long time lurker on this thread. The times when I've felt I could contribute have always been with hindsight as I've always eaten my takeaway before thinking to photograph it (usually due to alcohol!). Not this time...

Sober. I give you

- indian doner on a
- garlic and cheese naan with
- onion salad
- mint dressing
- chilli sauce

Side order of onion bhajis (one very feckin hot, one normal) and chips (suitably soggy and a liberal dose of dark soy sauce on them).

For scale the bowl is just over 12" across. Doner meat went under the chips.

A lovely way to bury a hangover (and give me heartburn!).

What makes it an Indian donner? Is it just the way it’s served or is it a different recipe meat?

Rather than having a dirty night out, you can now have a dirty night in

https://www.myburgerbox.co.uk/

£15 for a burger once a month .....

If you google search the images they are from, er, other places.

you can now have a dirty night in for the same price as Monaco or Las Vegas!

I wonder how well they will do?

Right, off for a kebab......

it looks like a massive waste of money. you could get the ingredients seperately yourself for less. their burger doesn't look gourmet in any way, just a generic pub burger worth about £8. most of these things work out really crap value.

Was helping my Mum with replacing her car yesterday afternoon. By the time we were all done it was gone 7pm and my Daughter was starving and tired. We stopped off at KFC and picked up a kids meal for my Daughter and a boneless banquet for one (with gravy of course!) and 4 hot wings.

I'm not exactly a KFC regular however the ones near me serve the more 'chunky' fries, closer to a proper chip whereas I see yours do the mcdonalds style skinny fries.
Is the restaurant free to choose which they serve? or do some serve both?

KFC gravy is pretty dirty i mean any sauce made from the left overs from frying, then made it into a gravy is pretty dirty.

It appears that all the branches in my local vicinity serve these 'soggy' style fries.

The ones you are talking about are a recent trial in a few places

It's from a curry house smile

Tastes like doner but with a hint of curry to it - very subtle, but there.

The curries from this place are top notch (just as well..it's the only place that delivers 7mls out of a town). But every now and then this is the only thing that will do smile
