Dirty Takeaway Pictures Volume 3
Discussion
It was awful. One of the cartons had leaked inside the bag, covering everything with oil. The stuff still in the cartons was... still covered in oil. I’ve just reheated and eaten the garlic naan bread for “breakfast”. It was vastly improved by adding butter to it. I’m such a hypocrite.
Anyway, the pictures. Enjoy. Or not.

like the look of that, a curry isnt a curry without a layer of yellow ghee / oil whatever... . Had a spicy fillet burger chips (covered in chip spice and chilli sauce) and 6 hot wings, beans and a can of mirinda last night from a place in Armley leeds. called ukfc Giblet might know it its on armley town street. total cost was 3 quid 50. worth every penny. they could teach kfc a thing or three, best chicken ive had from a takeaway in ages. forgot to take pics though. got home and just munched the lot . the prices are so cheap in there too, spicy fillet and chips and a can is 2 quid 60 i got the wings and beans though so came to a bit more. , if youre ever going through the st hole that is armley town street call in . place next door does cracking kebabs and bhajis too.
Long time lurker/commentor on this forum - 1st time photo however !!
Mixed Kebab - Kofte and Elephant leg (crisped up on the grill) must have weighed about 2lbs with Chilli Sauce, Lettuce, Red Cabbage and Burger Sauce. With small portion of chips - which could feed a family of 4.
And what was left at the end (felt a bit sick TBH)
Bread and about a third of the Elephant Leg meat.

Not a takeaway (and not a picture) but might be of interest to some. I stay in a very Asian area of Glasgow and have a 'supermarket' which sells everything not just for punters but for takeaways. Aisles full of plastic cartons, pizza boxes, plastic forks etc.
The butcher counter has all the usual (and some unusual!) but they do all the kebab shop favourites raw in the sauce, pre made for lazy takeaway owners. Tandoori chicken, tikka, peri peri etc. Much cheaper than out the shop and ready to fire in the oven. I'd guess most cities with an Asian population will have something similar. I know some of the smaller butchers do it too.
Obviously not ideal for that drunken impulse buy, but if you can plan it... less than a fiver a kilo too iirc.
