I like a chippy but I know I would feel sick if I attempted that. Especially with the newly ruined Bru laugh.

Couldn't make my mind up, so I went for a mash-up; Szechuan shredded beef, Singapore fried rice, salt and pepper chips and a side of curry sauce.

Well I am half way through cooking our dinner and whilst I think it will be nice - I could smash that right now, with an ice cold peroni or 6.

Would have to sleep in the spare room with the window open, but I am sure it would be worth it.

Extra hot double piri burger meal, loaded it with some Hot Ones Fiery Chipotle sauce. Really enjoyed the sauce and I’m not normally a fan of hot sauces. Need to order some more, pity shipping costs so much

Talking of profit margins, my local chicken shop where I purchased the above meal from had a sign up saying they have small price rises coming into affect from Monday. Sad times

I'm in a quandary, does this photo belong here, or 'photos of your lunch' or 'the average food that you took away but isn't that dirty; at lunch time'?

Anyway, noodles...

Giblet , dont know if youre aware but rather than get the sauces via mail, just go to the leeds chilli shop its at the front of the merrion centre by the kfc. they have a brilliant range and you can try before you buy too. i particularly recommend the germanos roast garlic chilli sauce. that is wonderful stuff. Frank Jay who runs it is a real nice guy too , im always in there . to be honest if there is a sauce frank doesnt stock, it its not worth having. the chilli shop is my fave place in Leeds

Driven past it but never been in, will check it out. Cheers!

Had a rather nice lamb shawarma from an unusual source, Abu Bakr supermarket in Hyde Park. I spotted the shwarma being cooked in the “food to go” section so ordered one. He misheard and made me 2, I ate them both. Quite nice, better than what Shawarma opposite Leeds Uni now sell but not as good as Shawarma Dubai was.

I’m not one to turn down more food. Currently sat in Rusholme Chippy waiting for my kebab. Not been here in quite a while.

No pic, back in hospital for more surgery to try and fix Leggy McLegster. External frame, which looks hideous.

Hopefully out and back home by the middle of next week, so I may have to hit up the Just Eat app for some filth. When I say “may”, of course I mean “will”.

I can’t see the profit in that. I’m sure if it was proper filth it would cost as little as £4 to make. Money laundering is my guess
I'm not an expert (or even moderately clued up) but surely things like these are usually more about reducing waste than large profit margins. If they can clear overage in prepped ingredients from the much more profitable weekends with cheap midweek deals and cover their cost or even make a small profit, they'd rather do that than throw away?

Or you're right, it's that or a front yes

Mixed kebab, 1 skewer of chicken and 1 of lamb mince. Lamb mince kebab thing broke up into smaller bits as it was removed from the skewer

The lamb kebab is a kobeda. Epic things. I usually go for a double kobeda personally.

Reminds me of trying to buy baklava in a shop in Turkey about 8 years ago. I thought I'd ordered 3 pieces, but realised as they finished loading the first tray into boxes that they were serving me 3kg. I managed to get them to stop before they'd boxed much more than a kilo. The three of us still ate it all by the following day.
