Tonights effort, Mrs assisting. Various meats, chips and there's a 12" keema naan under there somewhere. Gargantuan amount of food for £15. Still half of it left.

I want this in my life now!

This is what I would like to be available near me. Perhaps it's a blessing I can't buy it.

I had an excellent fish and chips in Swanage at the weekend which was far too good for this thread hence no picture.

I used to lust after meat boxes on here, then I realised a few local places actually do them. Believe it or not they do a bigger one - I had:

King Kebab - £14.00
Chicken tikka, lamb kebab, chicken kebab, kofta kebab, donner meat, garlic chicken, choice of naan & chips served in a 12" pizza box

Then there is:

Super King Kebab - £16.80
Chicken, chicken tikka, lamb kebab, kofta kebab, garlic kebab, donner meat, chips, salad, choice of naan & 6 spicy hot wings, served in a 14" pizza box

Interestingly, they also do something described as:

Steak Kebab
With fried onions & mash

i hope that's not a typo and they meant mushrooms!

WTF is that ..... ? Looks like a Pigs trotter holding a boiled egg.
Bunny Chow is a South African dish where they hollow out a perfectly good loaf of bread and fill it with curry.

Cheers - did do a quick google - and the version shown in the ops picture looks very grimm compared to others - thus meeting title thread perfectly.

Bunny chow is usually great. The idea is that you can walk along with it as the loaf of bread acts as a pot for the curry. In the photo it’s lamb curry with potatoes which is the white thing you can see.

Back in my schooldays, early eighties. In Liverpool we had a Vienna loaf screwball. Basically a bloomer loaf hollowed out, then filled with a fish cake in bottom then filled with chips. Leftover bread dipped in either curry or gravy mmmmmmmmmm

That looks like something from Lush that you'd put on your face to restore youthful looks without harming the environment.

If there is a pork pie under there and some mint sauce available I could be tempted though.

Generic pizza incoming here tonight, I'd kill for a decent kofta kebab in naan but nobody in my immediate locality seems to do one for some reason.

It’s supposed to be a chicken saag but I think they have hugely overdone the spinach pulp and it looked like green paint. Tasted pretty good though

Urgh... I do eat some sh*t but that thick pond Algae dish makes my stomach turn. Glad to know it tasted better than it looks!

Totally unappetising. Having said that, we’ve all come to accept the st slurry colour of a regular curry so maybe it’s a grower.

If I carefully unbent the hinges, dead excited, and lifted the lid with great anticipation to be faced with that...

I'd be gutted. Absolutely gutted, Jeff.

Earlier this year when our dog was really really poorly, and both we and the vet thought we were going to lose him, he never produced a faecal sample that looked as bad as that.

I think it is a good sign - it's very green, sign that it is fresh (or very recently defrosted) spinach?
