OK, here's the curry munchy box and another munchy box below.
tbh, I've lost track with all the different names they give them.

But they do seem to be the market leaders with offering a kebab shop pic 'n' mix delivered in a pizza box. cool

much as i love the sight of these munchie boxes (and am jealous they don't have it in london). the amount of food...there's no way i could eat it in one sitting. most of the food I would never reheat. the only thing worth eating the day after/reheating is a pizza.

You wouldn't reheat kebab meat?!

I’m visiting the Uk in 2 weeks. Tell me exactly where I need to go to get this!

Oh come on! You live in Scotland?!? My wife booked Paris instead of Scotland for one of our stops. I’m already upset I’m not getting a Holland’s pudding from a Northern chippy. The last time I was in London I had a Steak and kidney suet pudding from the Ivy restaurant. It demonstrated the point of this thread, posh versions of takeaway food doesn’t cut it.

I grew up drinking in Oldham and eating 1 pound donners on Friday and Saturday nights. I miss filth food and get jealous when I come on this thread. I’m now in the US 50lbs heavier but with out a good English drunk meal.

Guys, I'm off North of the Border. Do we know the best munchie boxes in Edinburgh (better yet, Dunfermline!)?
Chinese or kebab are what I'm looking for.
Photo's will be posted, natch.

Try southall. Although they taste amazing straight out of the pan.
Not always an option but best ones are homemade.

The curry box is £14.95

The first one posted with the pizza and a burger in each corner is (was) the World Cup Box @ £22

The last one I posted with the smaller pizza and 2 burgers is the King box @ £20

Morrison's sell pakora which are fairly nice for supermarket fodder. In the deli bit.

Nip down to Wimmy Rd! I’ve made the trip over from Leeds a lot of times.

Or alternatively make your own. They are stupidly simple to make.

I'm not sure if they do Munchie Boxes but Topkapi kebabs in Edinburgh used to do amazing mixed kebabs in pizza boxes. It's been a few years since I lived there but they were my go to place.

Aren't these munchie boxes just a way for food that would otherwise be tightly packed to go cold more quickly??
