I had the exact same thought when I saw it! I'm surprised Petey D is still with us to be honest.

And the terrific 'it-might-look-like-ketchup-but-don't-treat-it-like-ketchup' Encona sauce.

I can’t decide what’s funnier, the English folk turning their nose up at the crunchy box after eating the filth that’s usually in this thread or people thinking a chippy does anything with aubergine laugh.

I have nea tried Scottish take out, but as an Australia I can categorically state that English take out is pretty bad.

Anything you need to drown in ketchup cant be that good.

As far as food goes, I'd define it as pleasant tasting and appealing, however as far as take out in England goes, I'll go with edible, palatable is a bonus.

If you mean Peter Mandelson then it was an urban myth.

Haha, I've never heard it said about Mandelson before, I've just heard it as one of those spurious "overheard in London" stories.

It was in relation to someone thinking the fried spuds were aubergines...

GF said the same, it's the lack of depth perception in shot. It had a hell of a lot of leg in it.

I like the simplicity of it. Bread, meat, fizzy pop.

Haven't noticed on takeouts, but the offy I use has gone up from a quid to 1.20 over the space of 8 months for a can of San Miguel.
