Dirty Takeaway Pictures Volume 3
Discussion
I know JE are not ideal and I don't use them by default.
For curry we order direct with the restaurant as their English is good plus you get 15% discount for collection so I usually go and get it and there is another one we sometimes use and they have their own website and its 10% discount even for delivery. Our local Chinese does not use JE or have a website so you have to kind of accept what comes, which sometimes can be random.
For pizza. No chance. They do not speak good English / struggle to understand me. Collecting is not an option unless you want to get stabbed or robbed if its after dark. The food is decent but they only get the order correct if you order through JE and collection is not an option.

most takeaways have higher prices on je.
Technically they're not allowed. JE will only change or upload their menu based on actual menu's and they also do secret shopper tests to see if the prices are the same. PMC19 said:
Seems to a new thing in Scotland (well I think so anyway) where people are putting curries and cheese on different types of naan bread. Chicken tikka chasni in the picture above.
The JE stuff is interesting, especially as I work for a company who build ordering platforms (website, app etc) for takeaways and restaurants. We differ in that we don’t take a cut of each order, we charge a monthly fee instead and that works out way more beneficial for our clients. In return they tend to offer discounts or freebies when their customers use the takeaways platform instead of JE.
The market is saturated though, new companies seem to be springing up regularly, all out to get a piece of the pie after seeing how well JE have done. JE have tried to branch out into delivering the orders which puts them in competition with Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Seems the latter two are in talks over a possible merger too. Interesting times ahead.

I was talking to a friend at the weekend and he said something similar was the latest thing at his local kebab shop - spicy chicken and cheese on a garlic naan.I like Franks. It's not particularly hot and actually have a good flavour. I can tolerate most hot sauces but I was finding ones like Encona gave me terrible stomach pain the following day. Franks does not do that to me. Must be an active ingredient that doesn't agree with me. I just don't see the point of using hot sauces so hot you start sweating. It overpowers the food.

If you want a hot sauce with a proper kick get this.
A proper hot sauce, just chillis, salt and vinegar.
You can mail order it or find it in some shops, I saw them in Aldi once. The Chipotle sauce is also amazing.

I get that from Encona too, pretty sure it's the Scotch Bonnets as I get the same with other brands of sauce with them in too.Franks Buffalo wing sauce is like crack cocaine, I assume.
