The other half has treated me to a lovely tapas meal and promptly fallen asleep on the sofa. I on the other hand am going to town on vino and the thought of a dirty kebab is ringing sirens in my head.
What to do...
What I done Was be disappointed when I walked up a big hill to the kebab shop and it was bloody shut! What to do...
So, made up for it tonight, completely sober.

You think that's easy how about "Alexa open just eat, order my last meal". handy when you are Anyone watched the video on youtube of a young guy doing Deliveroo for a week?
Bit skewed as he only really did 2 proper days and even then only worked lunch time but crazy how many orders they take and how they keep going to the same places over and over. And people were ordering just drinks?! Whats that all about?
Also interesting to see that the average delivery is worth about £3.50 to the rider, with some being more like £8 if you get 2 orders from the same place at the same time.

Having done takeaway delivery myself in my younger days with a car, on a busy Friday/Saturday you could do around 12-15 deliveries (5.5 hour window) and sometimes you would end up with 3 orders at once. Could get pretty stressful with traffic and backlogs and it could take one dodgy customer or wrong order to ruin the whole night.

These guys have it easy tbh. They don't have to deal with the restaurants or help out, they don't give a st about the food or how it gets to the customer and most of the time they are rude af oh and they actually get minimum wage.
The ones on the bikes or cars are a lot better than the cyclists.
Like many people on this thread, I am not that familiar with the concept of 'leftovers', however the combination of an overly generous order from the local Nepalese place last Sunday and a busy week meant that I've just consumed the last portion of a week old curry.
It seemed perfectly fine, but how long does a takeaway curry last if just kept in the fridge? (I cooked the rice fresh though)

I think week old curry, (not frozen and defrosted) I would shy away from.It seemed perfectly fine, but how long does a takeaway curry last if just kept in the fridge? (I cooked the rice fresh though)
I might sometimes add a sag aloo to a curry order to add to an omlet the following day but not a week after.
