Had anyone tried the Grand Mac with Bacon yet? I can heartily recommend it. It may be the best thing McDonalds have done for years.

Tried one yesterday, and wasn't very impressed. I found it a bit dry to be honest. I'd have been happier with my normal 2x double cheeseburgers TBH. Won't be trying another. Would have preferred a double Whopper as well.

I was about to have one on sunday but ended up having two big macs. I had no idea how expensive they are now (£3.39 each). it really doesn't seem worthit. Could've sworn they were £2 at some point? the double cheeseburger is £1.50 and has the same amount of meat in it as a big mac and is only down by about 50cals compared to the big mac.

The US has Bacon Big Mac's at the moment too, but but they also get cheesy bacon fries.

Since at least 2008, when I worked for the big M for a few months, and know they use the same patties for both burgers.

Probably since before then, really.

Yeah that’s true I haven’t had a Big Mac for years and was thinking they had four burgers in them. My bad

We sometimes do a Maccys Mezzee…. its as council as it sounds but after a few scoops at 1am its bliss!!

The only problem is you need someone sober to go to the drive through!!

The guy who runs my favourite kebab place in Blackpool is,I reckon, pretty loaded. Always nice new cars(FFRR I think is his latest, plus performance BMWs,& a nice house,& lots of holidays, but he works damn hard(so does his wife who seems to always be back & forth from the kitchen)
Used to to Doner rolls for a quid but pricier now, but even the medium one left me too full to eat it
Would that be Adams?
Off there shortly to get my food in ready for watching the Super Bowl.

Although the best in Blackpool is the Armenian Kebab house on Harrowside bridge.
It most certainly is. Great place but I will give the Armenian one a go next time I'm down

Trying the Grand Mac last time they did them confirmed one thing, for me. That the standard Big Mac is the perfect size and ingredients, and should never be messed with.

I enjoyed it. It’s no Burger King Bacon King though. Those bad boys are as moorish as crack.

Oh totally. Anything from McDonalds is dirt compared to the majesty that comes with The King. The Bacon King is sheer magnificence but have you tried the Steakhouse King yet? cloud9

Sounds like my dry one was an outlier then.

As Carl's Jnr taught us - If it doesn't go all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face
