Brain's Faggots were epic. Or at least so I recall - not had them in 40yrs smile
.
Still superb, they were last time I had them a few months ago anyway. Perfect with proper home made chips, bit of ketchup on the chips also. And the gravy is perfect for dipping the inevitable chip butty into.

I agree, the wife’s not as keen on them though!

I had them a few months back, nothing special

lacking in actual chicken, all you were eating was the spicy coating.

No actual photos - but tried the German Doner Kebab which have popped up in/around London.

(Image from their website). Food however actually looks like the photo (makes a pleasant change) , and was very tasty - massive portion with mixed chicken/beef. . Also not running in grease/fat (so maybe in the wrong thread ....). Was also sober.

They even do a low cal/gym bunny lunchbox type meal .... I’m not doing this right am I ? laugh

We have one in mk i must try it.

Just checked, as I worry a lot about these things, and I was pleasantly surprised that that's only 1700kcal.

I'll give myself the rest of the day to talk myself into it, and get a box on the way home.

It must be about 6 months since I last regretted a KFC, so I'm approximately on schedule for another regret-filled trip.

laugh good to know, thanks for checking the cals on behalf of us that way inclined.

I think if you're after a regret filled trip, this is probably not a bad contender. I would suggest having some drinks and dips handy, i think I would start struggling somewhere around 15

Long time lurker but I had this for my lunch a couple of days ago from a snack van near Lanark

Chips, haggis and pepper sauce. Good but messy in the van

That looks great for van fare, big fan of haggis, chips and gravy if I ever have leftovers. Warm the haggis up in a pan with some fried mushrooms and onions.

Cannae go wrong with a haggis supper either.

Best efforts lead to nought, I'm afraid.

On final approach I caught a large, nasty gust of pre-regret and gave it a swerve.

Not regretting not regretting it, if I'm perfectly honest. smile

Yes!

Just needs proper chippy chips, but nonetheless I bet that was fluppin superb.

The best haggis I've ever had was deep-fried in batter from Anstruther Fish Bar. Mrs Jim and I still reminisce about it 5 years later.

Awesome. No chance of getting that in Cheshire but I am inspired to recreate at home.
