Dirty Takeaway Pictures Volume 3

McDonalds South Africa are now selling McCrispy Chicken. Here we have 3 pieces of chicken (1 drum, 1 breast and 1 winglet) with a Double Boerie medium meal. A Boerie is basically the sausage patties they use for breakfast done like a burger although here those patties are Boerwors
The chicken was actually really good. Not greasy at all like KFC, I suspect it is baked, certainly would appear so. Well cooked meat and a decent amount and the breading is crunchy and a decent thickness that doesnt just slide off the meat. The coating has a taste of chilli and black pepper with a similar heat to a zinger. Really impressed. I would choose it over KFC to be honest.
Dont know how long they will be doing it for but at this rate it will close down the KFC a couple of doors down.
3 pieces were £2.50ish and the Double Boerie medium meal £1.95

Since moving to Spain there’s little I miss about living in the UK... a good doner kebab is one, but a decent Indian isn’t.
4th curry from a place I found Just outside Puerto Banus. Dansak was decent, but the tandoori mixed grill is truly outstanding... and massive (makes 2 meals).
2nd night (popadoms not shown)... mixed grill, pillau rice, madras sauce and peshwari naan. Gorgeous.
I spent 2 years on the costa del sol in Riviera del sol. There use to be a good indian restaurant on the coast road, beach side from Calahonda commercial centre.. Maybe called Mumbai now. There was a half decent one at the top of Riviera also.4th curry from a place I found Just outside Puerto Banus. I'm a bit further along - the other side of Marbella, just above San Perdro. The Indian I use is called Mumbai City, on the north side of Puerto Banus. I've also been to one called Curry Leaves. Mumbai City does some of the best Tandoori I've ever had - full of flavor!!
Just wish I could find somewhere that did donner... it's all chicken here.

I'm guessing it's another buttered scuffler type name for a bread roll? I was shocked by the hull pattie tbh think fishcake sans fish.
The fish was described as gigantic it was large but not the biggest there is a 25oz challenge one in alderlyedge i think it is. Wasnt cheep at 16.99for the fish n chips and bread n butter, peas and curry were extra all in i think it was £33 Its not cheap even in a st hole like scarborough

Not strictly takeaways as I ate in, but some from my recent trip home:
Five guys as I had heard good things about them, but wouldn't rush back. Overpriced IMO and not that amazing, the milkshake was the best thing about it all, loads of fries too and they were pretty good. Had better burgers for cheaper before though.
Breakfast at the airport on the way home:
