Yeah, the real competition is for second place.
I think Eski takes all three podium spots, most of his meals look like they've been through a spin cycle in a washing machine.

Last nights mix of chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb kofte and donner with chips, green stuff and two flat bread type things - meant for two and despite my best efforts still plenty for lunch.

Leftovers from last nights Chinese ... though made a faux pas and put the Salt and Pepper chips in the lunchbox - rather than keep separate and reheat in the oven ....

Salt’n Pepper Chips
Beef Curry
Chicken Balls
Pork Dumplings
Stir fried Mushrooms

Lunchbox is a deep one - managed 3/4 and rest in the bin.

It’s really easy to make, there is a good recipe in the takeaway secret book that’s pretty close! Just can’t cut it as thin frown

Breadcrumbs and flour are the main ingredients. Just do the spices yourself.

yeah making it isn't a mystery. there's plenty of recipes online, over youtube, even some supermarkets recipe sections have them. supermarkets even have pre-mix seasoning, but i think its better to follow a recipe. many recipes basically consist of mince + seasoning. mould into a meatloaf and cook in an oven. then slice and (if desired) cut thinly and fry in a pan. for added browning. some recipes suggest freezing the block (not entirely) in order to make it firm and easier to cut thin strips.. which you then fry up in a pan.

Could you not use one of those veg peelers (or possibly a mandolin somehow)? Not tried, just wondering....

Fed 3 with leftovers smile

Waiting on a friend at b&q meant for a quick visit to the van in the corner. Can’t go wrong with chips and curry sauce.

I tried a peeler and failed. The eBay link provided is fine if you make 10kg and its on a spit, but a 500g one isn’t that big. I just use a sharp knife and do my best.

If you could hold it upright and get it solid, so it doesn’t move, a peeler may work.
