Going to advertise my trusty old Ooni/Uuni 2S soon, if anyone on here is interested let me know. I figured it made sense as I bought it from a fellow PH’er back in 2016

Long day of diy so went to the local business estate for dinner, natch!

It’s a bit rough around the edges, but a tidy pizza and a good pint.

Made pizza tonight. No photo's as everyone was hungry but did a bit of fusion on my one, usual tomato base, cheese and then some tandoori lamb cutlets I made last night thinly sliced.
Cooked and then a drizzle of mango chutney and some coriander on top. Was really good, would recommend.

I currently have one of the original Weber pizza ovens that sits on top of my MasterTouch as seen on this page - https://www.bbqs2u.co.uk/blog/how-to-use-the-weber...

It made great pizza in the past, but was always a pain to refuel because you had to lift the whole thing off to add more wood, and it goes through wood very quickly. It’s quite heavy and a pain to store because it’s huge and has a rounded bottom so it doesn’t sit flat anywhere other than on a bbq. Because it’s so awkward to use I haven’t used it in a number of years. It’s one of those things that if you’re not going to cook 10 pizzas then it’s not worth getting it going.

I know nothing about modern day pizza ovens. What sort of thing would I be looking at that would lead me to getting rid of the Weber? I have a £500 voucher from work to spend on something and am trying to work out what to spend it on.

You can't go wrong with a Gozney or Ooni oven. Various shapes and sizes available.

The new Gozney Arc looks really good

Was a wetter mix than usual, think my measuring scales are not giving me the accurate measurement they should be. Tasted good though

Sold my 2S within a day of having it listed, went for £100. Not bad considering I paid £160 for it back in 2016

My little original Ooni is still making great pizzas. Gas conversion kit is a revelation. Pellets was okay but I found it very hit & miss.

Just made 1 Garlic pizza (excuse the burnt bit) and 3 x regular pizzas. Bit heavy on the tuna which made the base a bit damp, I probably didn’t drain it as much as I should have but still decent enough. So easy & quick. Love it!

Edit to add - I cheat and use shop bought dough most of the time. Either Northern Dough Co or Booker in bulk.

First time with my own homemade dough….

Buffalo Mozzarella didn’t have enough time draining sadly .
Tasted great though.

Superb crust on that, congrats! Not bad at all for your first dough.
