I'd take fresh Scottish Langoustines over frozen imported prawns any day.
Yup, nothing beats a bag of prawns (we call them prawns but they are langoustines), got claws and plenty of meat on 'em. Used to get wee squat lobsters for nowt, delicious, not big but sweet flesh. They were like a small langoustine.

As a slight aside, apologies OP, I had Cape Verdean Lobster on holiday which was a delicious grilled Lobster but with no claws. A Google photos suggests this is the norm.

The claw meat is my favourite so was wondering whether they just ditch the claws or the Lobster do not have any. Any body know?

What really annoys me are supermarkets that using the word king prawn when in fact what they are selling are minuscule. A prawn shouldn't be called king or jumbo unless its at least 25cm long.

Just make sure they haven't had this done to them.

What is wrong with this world. Profit overrules health with a lot of things.

Here you go.

From my local Chinese super market 50 miles away caught or farmed in Ecuador. Must say they are tasty.

Must be around 24 in a box.

I bought 2 of the middle ones from Costco's fresh fish sale once, the two of them cost me £12. They were nice but I wont be buying them again.
