I'm sure they're all made in the same factory but I think the different supermarkets might have slightly different recipes. Tesco own-brand for me.

I second the peanut butter & Marmite on toast suggestion and also adding it (Marmite) to beef gravy.

I eat loads of marmite and this is a well known fact throughout my family and friends so I have a small collection of Marmite goodies including a silver jar lid (which is all tarnished and chucked in a drawer). I also had a good few bars of Marmite chocolate.
I fking hate it and every time I say that I don't like it someone else will buy me another. I had managed to get rid of it all, bam Easter, two more bars.

Marmite pasta - easiest meal for kids in the world. And adults.

Melt some butter and marmite together in a pan.
Boil pasta
Add a bit of the cooking water to the marmite/butter.
Mix with pasta.
Grate cheese over the top.

I add a teaspoon on Marmite to anything I am cooking that uses mince.

It is good. And in my experience kids who won't eat Marmite on toast etc will eat this.

Your taste changes as you get older. As a kid I love chocolate, Southern Comfort etc
Now I don't really like either.

To me it was way saltier than Marmite, maybe it was a dodgy packet lol.

I recently went out for a burger and a friend ordered "love / hate fries" - essentially fries but with a coating of marmite that's been mixed with butter and a pot of this coating as a dip. I tried one having not liked Marmite for around 40 years, I've since finished 2 large jars of the stuff in the past month or so, it's like crack.

Presumably my taste buds finally matured enough to appreciate it.
