Hi all. does anyone know where i can get good Greek pitta breads ? they are not at all like the usual pittas that we tend to get here in the uk. almost like a cross between a pitta and a naan. the type of bread that good gyros come in in greece. almost like a yellowy colour and could possibly be made with cornmeal or cornflower... not sure but i do know i love them and cant find anything close in the supermarkets , even the local place that does Mediterranean food cant help. i am in leeds if it helps but happy to buy on line if anyone knows, Also looking for a greek fruit juice blend called amita motion, i love the stuff and for a short time was available in my local tesco but they have stopped that now too the sods. i bought cases at a time of that nectar.

Pitta Breads are pretty much the easiest thing in the world to make - the key is to make sure they're fresh.

Google some recipes; play with different types of flour - polenta/semolina/00 etc.

Not quite Pitta but the Khobez flatbreads from Asda are absolutely fantastic!
