Healeys cider and Thatchers Haze are lovely.
Anything by St Austell ales, i usually like, Woodfordes brewery in Norfolk is v good, especially the Wherry, and i like Otter as well.
Local to me, bishops nicks which is the remnant of the old ridleys brewery is turning out some good stuff.

Top of the list is something strong & Belgian for me, Westvleteren 12, Tripel Karmeliet, Gulden Draak, Rochefort 10 are all about as good as beer gets IMO. But most quad and triple really hit the spot
For a good local ale then Chiltern, Tring and Vale brewery all offer something decent
Stout/porter then Guinness West Indies
For a lager/pilsner then Poland, Germany and Czech all offer plenty that are delicious in the summer

while i will drink most things for me its , beer, whisky, bourbon etc..
i hate all the mainstream lagers, even the imported things like tyskie, perla I am fed up of. in general I much prefer drinking spirits as with beer you have to make yourself a little uncomfortable in the speed/quantity at which you drink in order to get buzzed, and there's the disadvantage of 'breaking the seal' and having to go every 5min. you don't get that with spirits.
I'd like to get into wine more but I feel that's a minefield, so much stuff and nowhere to start. I also feel like it's one of those things where if you want nice stuff you end up spending more and more and I don't see the point if you're spending £8/ea for 2 bottles of wine when you could get yourself 1 bottle of bourbon.

Lager - good czech stuff. Usually Staropramen or Budvar.
Ale - like a pint or 5 of London Pride. Also Timothy Taylor's Landlord.
Craft beer - hoppier the better. Drink a fair bit of Goose Island IPA. Also some of the London ones down in Bermondsey etc are pretty good.
Gin - Tanquerary.
Red wine - Malbec.
Quite like a rum and Ting too...
Not such a fan of Vodka, Whiskey etc.
Maybe I've got a problem

Another beer geek over here
I grew up drinking English cask ales, which I still love. My current favourite breweries are Thornbridge of Bakewell, TimTaylor's of Keighley and Blue Monkey of Nottingham. This may have changed by next week, however .
My tastes have broadened out to include Bavarian Weissbier, Bohemian Pilsner, Belgian Trappist ales and American craft beers.
The choice and quality of beers now available is better than it has ever been. It's a great time to be a beer lover.
Cheers!

Coming from Glasgow I always drink Tennents. Talking about spirits it has to be a good west coast whisky (Islay) or Morgan's and lemonade.
Likewise. I don't drink much at all but usually it's a pint or two of Tennent's because it's inoffensive and cheap (£2.20 in Hillhead Bookclub). Then it's a few spiced rums and sometimes a G&T to finish.Morgan's is standard, Red Leg is OK and Chairman's Reserve is my favourite. Sailor Jerry can burn in hell.
Used to love a good bloody mary but not bothered for a long time.

For me
Beer, love the modern IPA's, Punk IPA is a new standard in those, there are many out there, some better a lot worse but that seems to be the yardstick.
Leffe, Duval Trippel Hop, Jaipur, Hoegaarden and Blue Moon.
Stella, I know its not cool but its a decent lager.
Gin and Tonic, not all that fussy about the Gin or the Tonic, Gordons is fine
Vodka and Tonic, ditto, not all that bothered about the brands
Jack Daniels, on is own, it is a nice drink
Remy Martin, tried many brandies, some quite expensive, always come back to Remy, nothing better to complete and evening for me.
Wine wise, dryer the better, Sauvignon and White Burgundy, Reds, not that well up on but should be, I do like it but not established a pattern, tried £40 stuff and preferred cheapo Aldi £4 Chillena Merlot.
Blended Whiskies, I spent years on various Malts, and they can be amazing, but people get snobby about blended Whisky but I quite enjoy it, Whyte and Mackay is, for me preferable to some low end malts.
Cocktails, Long Island Iced Tea or a Harvey Wallbanger.
