Dark rum, spiced in particular.

Lager during summer, but I'm relatively picky. Czech lager "Kozel" is my favourite at the moment, very crisp and I can drink it much faster than I anticipate. Not terribly common though which is a shame, and my local have stopped it.

Winter months - Pale ales, bitter. Fond of Guinness but have to be in the mood. A pint of John Smiths or Tetleys kept and poured properly is a wonderful thing.

Single malt, always veer towards Lowland but do not mind the odd Islay.

Wine; has to be red but I'm very open minded.

Mark Zero - Makers Mark/Coke Zero - tons of ice, slice of lemon
Guinness Draught
Sapporo

I used to sup a lot of Tetleys when I lived in Yorkshire - wonder if I'd still like it...

I'm really trying to learn to like gin but so far it's not going well.
Please allow me:
I couldn't stand the stuff, until one extremely hot day when I was best man at a mate's wedding,
a friend handed me the most refreshing drink I've ever had.

Firstly, to fully appreciate this sublime gift from the gods, you must be in a nice warm sunny climate, freshly showered and suitably dressed for dinner.

Take a tall pint glass, preferably chilled.
Add 1/8th of a pint of gin. Tanqueray is my favourite, but Aldi's Oliver Cromwell has won awards and is rather nice.
Add a couple of chunky slices of lime. Or 1 slice of lime plus 1 slice of lemon. Make sure there are no pips.
Fill glass with fresh ice. ( or the frozen stuff will do at a pinch wink )
Fill the remaining voids to the brim with decent tonic ( Schweppes or Britvice is acceptable but there are more exotic botanicals available ).
Swizzle the contents together with a cocktail stirrer or drinking straw and enjoy. ( Do not drink it through the straw, it's not couth! wink )

This recipe is guaranteed to convert any heathen, but it has to be a hot sunny day or preferably enjoying the prelude to a beautiful summer sunset somewhere exotic to fully appreciate it.

Chin chin!

Pretty much anything.

Ales. Guinness. Vodka. Tequila. Dark rum. Red wine. White wine. Port. Lighter fuel. Champagne. Cocktails. Jaegermeister.

Not allowed to drink whiskey anymore after an incident involving a large quantity of jack Daniels (yeah bourbon I know) resulted in me behaving like a complete .

Apart from excessive amounts of wine a decent dirty vodka martini always hits the spot.

If your picky on lager, have you tried Korev? to me it tastes a cut above the fizzy piss that is passed off as lager on the main.

Haven't drank lager since I was underage. Occasionally drink koppaburg or reckordlig ciders.

Oh and currently very partial to Capn Morgan's Loco Nut
where do you get Loconut from in the UK?

Currently finding it hard to beat this (gama ray pale ale)

A micro pub round the corner from me has this on draught, £3:70 a pint, think its great value!
