I do love a rum 'n coke, and it has to be Coke Zero and preferably with an Appleton Estate rum. In the absence of a Jamaican amber rum to mix with coke, then Gosling's Black Seal is the "go to". For neat rum, something from the Dominican Republic or an El Dorado 15 y.o. Diplomatico Riserva is good for a sweet rum hit as well.

Jamesons is the daily nightcap.

Most real ales hit the spot, but especially Hobson's Porter / Fuller's Chiswick Bitter / Hook Norton Best Bitter & Hooky Dark.

I've not tried a Belgian beer I've not liked.
