they've just opened one in manchester, but apparently a london soho feature for decades. anyone been? any good?
Looks a decent menu, might give it a try. We are off out in a couple of weeks after work seems to have a menu to suit most. El Gato Negro is booked for the night we want to go out.It will make a change from our default of Rudys too!

Quite possibly my favourite restaurant in London to go to with a small group of friends. Not sure they'll be able to replicate it quite as well outside Soho but I'd make sure to give it a go asap!
kind of what i thought... menu looks really amazing. I do love the style of the place too, much more commonly seen in London. I hope it can be replicated!Blown2CV said:

We keep meaning to go EGN, but it is always booked when we try. Beef & Pudding was always our default a few years ago if out after work, that place went down hill quite quick though.
Will mention Randall and Aubin when back in work, and report back if any good.
Heard a very underwhelming review of the Manchester Randall & Aubin one from a colleague who went the w/e just gone.
If you can't get it right these days in Manchester you aren't going to last imo. There are too many restaurants that are really hitting a high mark now for average ones to get by. EGN - only managed to get in once, a couple of months ago, but it was utterly superb. Want to try Rabbit in the Moon at some point, and The French now it's Adam Reid.
