Hi
New to this Forum:
I have 2007 XKR which has broke the chain tensioner and messed up one bank I believe.
Looking for opinions on who I could get to rebuild engine. Car is currently in Ireland and I can get trailered to U.K.

The early cars were plagued with this problem along with the Nikasil (?) problem. I thought it would have been sorted by 2007 ?

A 2007 car will have the third gen metal bodied tensioners fitted which unlike the two previous plastic bodied versions aren't known for failing.

All you can do is start stripping down to see what's happened though than once you know have a look at your options.
