Tried it today. Three different sauces is a bit overkill and a bloody mess to eat.

Zinger Tower is still the best KFC burger imo.
Dirty Louisiana runs is fairly close tho - at least it would have if made freshly, my bread felt quite stale. Just keep it in its paper wrapper whilst you're eating it...!

Apparently there is a trial going on in some stores with skin on fries.
There is, I've a few stores I can choose between at times, and I've had skin on fries sometimes, and not at other times, I've never recounted which have which (I think Nottingham City Centre has /had S-O-F though).

I prefer them to regular fries, so it's a thumbs up from me.
Are they cooking them long enough and making them crispy

Just had the worst rip off piss take of a burger from McD .

Limited edition (I think?) Jamaican chicken with spicy jerk sauce.
Essentially 2 not quite full size chicken selects in a bun, with two thin rashers of bacon, one slice of cheese and salad/onions/sauce.
£4.69

I had 5 chicken selects on the side, for £4.49, chicken content was at least twice that of the Jamaican “burger”.

As far as I could tell, long enough, not quite crispy, they were more slightly soft and fluffy, but didn't taste undercooked.

Why do they feel the need to mess with their products.

I have been having the breakfast wrap every Friday morning since they started doing it.
£2.79 or £2.99 depending which McDs I go too.

On Friday I had one and they put the normal back bacon on it. Made it taste horrible and they had undercooked (as usual) the bacon so it was a stringy horrible mess. Put it down to maybe they had run out of the thin smoked bacon..... ohhh no. Went in today and asked about it and apparently they have changed over to the normal bacon. WTF. Why do this. Oh and for the privilege its now £3.09.

So that's gone up 10% for what is, IMHO, worse quality ingredients!

Not a regular denizen of McD's though recent first experience of the touch screen thingy seemed ok, late night McFlurry extra sprinkles for Miss FiF, McCaffogato for me. Kept me well awake for the rest of the drive. Seemed very slow service though, looked like prioritization of the drive through, there was a fair queue, and drinks staff picking up inside orders when they thought about it / had a break from the drive through demands.

I started this thread a year ago ! Seems to have struck a chord on here.
Still not a fan of the touch screen at busy times .as someone said on here, is like waiting at argos!
Is also getting more expensive in maccydees! A nandos for a family of 5 is only a fiver more for my brood...
That said a big mac is still tidy!

In mine it's more like prioritising the Deliveroo mob...

Anyhow I don't mind it now. I get extra cheese on everything smile and no gherkins anywhere smilesmile

I quite like the ordering system, especially when the table service thing is working.

Don't like the ever increasing prices. £4.99 for fillet meal. I do, however, like it when I get one of those fillet + fries for £1.99 vouchers in the metro and then buy a drink for £1. That's cheap!

Just seen a MSE article of McDonald's hacks.

Obvious ones like ordering a coupe of Mayo Chickens at 99p rather than a McChicken Sandwich at £3.19.

The DIY Big Mac, order a double cheeseburger for £1.49 and add the following free extras; lettuce, onions, pickles, mustard and mayo. Although you'll be minus a bun.

Big Mac and fries for £1.99 by filling in the food for thoughts survey printed on every receip to get a code, rinse and repeat.

Bacon Double Cheese for £1.89, order a double cheeseburger and then add bacon for 40p.

£1.59 less for 8 extra nuggets, Rather than ordering 2x 6 McNuggets at £3.19 each , order 20 for £4.79

20 nuggets straight after a double cheeseburger made me feel like I was going to have a stroke lol.

You can’t order Big Mac sauce on the extras menu but they opted for mustard and mayo as a half way house.

Mustard is able to be added to a big mac, and mayo to a cheeseburger, on the app anyway. So I would think instore would be the same.
