- Why does a chocolate milkshake always taste slightly of banana? If they come out the same nozzle that's surely an issue for some

And vanilla shake is affected even worse, has a good 80% chance to have a taste tainted with artificial banana flavour which is minging. Does anyone buy the banana flavour? just ditch it. This has been the case for the last 20 years.-:

If a small chain can do that then one with the logistics of McDonalds ought to be a bit more switched on when it comes to ordering in a few more imaginative special burger sauces or ingredients for promos than they do now.
You've got that completely the wrong way around. It's orders of magnitude more difficult for a huge organisation like McDs to 'just add a special' to the menu. It takes months of planning and logistics. Whereas a small chain (2-5 sites) can do this weekly without any hassle, and someone of Honest's size can probably do it monthly.ThunderSpook said:
I like the banana flavour, that and strawberry are the only ones I buy, and that’s only if the banana is not available. It’s just a shame that it often tastes of chocolate!
I also like the banana flavour, but 75% of the time I go to McDonalds (various restaurants) the milkshake machine is broken.red_slr said:
Breakfast Wrap £3.09 now at my local. £2.79 at others in the same area.
There are price variances across restaurants but usually the most expensive is no more than about 20p higher. McDonald's don't hike the price exponentially in services or transport hubs like its competitors. Why have so many of the refurbed restaurants got those stupid areas that look like piled up crates to sit on. No tables just lots of different height boxes. Hardly ever see many people sitting on them, they just seem like a waste of space. Was in Kensington store today and they had one of these areas sitting doing nothing, not just in the ground floor, but another one in the basement. Was irritating because there were no tables free, just this weird crates area.

It’s called a “bleacher,” and I don’t really get them either but they were all the rage with our interior designer a couple of years ago. The last one I saw installed was in Leicester Square, which does get used but mainly as a result of every other seat being taken.Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
