Put whatever st you like down your own throat, the difficulty is all the parents who put it down their kids throats, possibly due to ignorance rather than malice, and what kid's not going to wolf down a bowl of sweet sugary "healthy" cereal?
yes

Too many nutritionally clueless parents around. The OP can moan all he wants, I'm sure he can find some other treat to eat instead, afterall he should have grown out of kids cereals by now hehe

Man up and eat a proper breakfast, and when in the mood go down to your local chocolatier, baker, non Asda/Tesco supermarket or other purveyors of high quality snacks and get something made by someone who cared about taste, pure ingredients and quality. Or join the dirty takeaway thread wink

I’ve just had to go to Walsall. I’ll be glad when sugary foods are outlawed, you should have seen some of the fat, gormless looking fkers around there.
Humans can’t be trusted to eat sensibly any more. The recipes of the food manufacturers make sure that they can’t be resisted.

We had a meeting at work about it yesterday. Full fat cans of coke etc are going to have to go up 33p due to tax. R Whites lemonade has already gone sugar free 9 months ago and hardly anyone has noticed.
Most bars are going to serve sugar free drinks as standard now, so coke zero with your JD. Also tonics etc are being brought into the sugar free zone, at the moment Schweppes does not meet the sugar free, but Britvic does.
I was amazed by the impact it is going to have in the industry.
I wonder if ths explains why, when using McDonalds touchscreen ordering recently, selecting a drink it offered me Coke Zero or Diet Coke first. The regular option wasn't as prominent if I recall.

I thought they gave up on real lemons long before that. No- one seemed to notice either.

i can resist.

its called evolution which has sadly stopped witht eh advent of modern medicine and people not being held to account for the poor choices they make, and explains why there are so many feckless individuals around.

FYI It's not sugar that made me a bit chubby. I ate too many crisps. McCoy's S&V crisps. About 12 packets a day. I could still do it (now I do 4-5 a day) but I move more than I used to. I decided to cut down (somewhat) because I know it's not really that good for you.

Two places I've been into in recent months no longer sell full-fat Pepsi: Harvester and Subway. I despise diet/Max/Zero drinks so ended up ordering a pint of cordial instead which was about 80% cheaper. Counter productive for the restaurant but good for my bank balance!

Being a non drinker I stopped buying pints of Pepsi/Lemonade years ago due to pubs wanting to charge almost the same price for one as a pint of lager, I now just stick to pints of Blackcurrent & Soda which costs between 80p-£1.50 depending where I am
