I'd really recommend it, it's an excellent dish.

I used this Rick Stein BBC recipe.

ah do you live in glasgow? Yea stupidly the one near me didn't copyright/trademark whatever the name and then the one in glasgow opened and sued them for the name which was a properly sharky thing to do, but the original one just had to back down and change name. They've subsequently changed again and sort of cheapened their offering in response to cost of living / inflation etc. which is a shame too.
No I’m in Manchester and ate in one that used to be called Sud. It’s now www.letsrigatoni.co.uk and they expanded to one too many sites and have now scaled back to two.
yea we're talking about the same place

I’ll be honest and was expecting a lot more roast leg/shoulder of lamb posts - but some beautiful food posted recently.

I was pleasantly surprised when my wife brought home a ham Saturday:

Sundays dinner - roast ham/mash/carrots and out of shot, roasted white onions. Delicious !!

Fat Badger in Harrogate.
I've not eaten here before, however had a brilliant meal at the same restaraunt in York so had high expectations.

Looks OK but simply didn't have much flavour.

Chateaubriand was about £70 for two. Add on some veg and peppercorn sauce both for two and it's an additional £18.
So about £44 each.

Just wasn't worth it.

The banoffee cheescake was excellent.

Looks nice - I did a lamb leg as part of a bigger dinner, was quite nice.

I forgot to order a leg of lamb from the local farm shop so ended up using a shoulder.
It looks a bit overdone in the photo but it was delicious.

That looks utterly fantastic - we're staying just outside Protoras in June, might have to add that place to the list.
