Place called Billy bobs near me is back open, and in the words of Pumba from lion king - " I ate like a pig!"

Their mac and cheese is sensational. Washed down with an epic milkshake. Also they have mountain dew, the original stuff from the states, not that energy drink st version that you see in the local shop.

That looks very good. What is in the red basket between the two burgers?

Those are onion bits, like onion rings but strings instead, very nice actually

Yep, it was the sort of meal you need a lay down after, but as its only once in a blue moon i head there i do like to indulge. The shakes really are very good.

A basic salad with new season asparagus and some mackerels. I really wanted a glass of wine but I tend to shun booze in the week. Still, pretty tasty.

Only a shank here... Red wine sauce, new pots, buttered and seasoned, bit of green stuff.

Some filth

Homemade Mexican pizza. From bottom to top:

Deep fried tortilla
Homemade pinto refried beans
Homemade adobo chicken
Shredded cabbage
Chilli sauce
Deep fried tortilla
Cheddar and Manchego
Chopper tomatoes and avocado
Coriander
Chilli sauce
Sour cream

I also had picked red onion but forgot it until I was halfway through.

Bought a milk fed lamb quarter from Basco online (lechazo). Seasoned with just salt, basted with some fat (dripping in this case as had no lard) and slow roasted over a pan containing some water. Served simply with roasted potatoes and a lettuce and spring onion salad. Had some aioli on the side.

The flavour of the lamb is delicate and slightly creamy, the skin was amazing.

So delicious.

I don't like this at all

"Bought a milk fed lamb quarter from Basco online (lechazo)"

Surely all lambs are milk fed, being young ? I have no idea what Basco and lechazo means ... are these Welsh lambs with Welsh language?

I'd rather have mutton with some taste.

If that was a half leg of lamb that plate could be seen from space. It's a lamb shank isn't it, come on, fess up! Your tile size and potato size gives it away ... wink

Looks great though. Did you eat it all?

A few potatoes and a bit of cabbage escaped but I ate all the lamb.
The plate is 12" across so that was half a leg. (Thats a full sized keyboard behind)

Suckling lamb, only fed on milk.

Good job you didn't have it then eh?

It's good to try new things (that don't get dumped in a Yorkshire pudding) wink
