Thanks!
It's actually a recipe from 'The Spicery'. I have a subscription for one recipe per month, they send a recipe and packs of spices and you do the rest.
I think they're great!
The whole point of a shatkara though is that it has shatkara in it so that’s not a chicken shatkara at all. I guess they are trying to use the grapefruit to replace itIt's actually a recipe from 'The Spicery'. Looks very lovely What was the rice like? As not heard of rose petal masala rice before?I have a preference for bombay potatoes to be skinless and cut up or diced or sliced myself though rather than whole; just seems a more indian thing to do.

Thanks. It wasn't overly hot but it was spicy and flavoursome.I have a preference for bombay potatoes to be skinless and cut up or diced or sliced myself though rather than whole; just seems a more indian thing to do.
The rice had a very subtle spicy flavour from the garam masala, it didn't have a very strong taste.
The recipe stated unpeeled potatoes and I went with it for the first time, but I agree, they are better peeled and diced a bit smaller.

It's interesting that it doesn't call it style or mention gratefruit as a substitute. I guess grapefruit chicken doesn't sound as exotic.Martin350 said:
