Not interesting;weekday-fridge-dipping-fodder. Sauteed potatoes, and peas to perk the interest of illmonkey. Pork loins are better-half sourced Tesco 1cm things, not a huge amount I could do with them, I'll do this again with proper 1" pork chops. Regardless, salt brine for an hour or so, dried, brought to room temp, seared, rested, and put in the oven in an envelope with the resting juices yielded an acceptable result that pulled apart quite easily.

scratchchin you need to post more.

And to the point your E36 is a mirror of my second car (aged 21) back in the 80's.

Yes, it cost more to insure than the lease every month!!

You're a legend, Eski, but from top to bottom that's a house fire, something potato and pile of vomit.
But, in his defence, that's absolutely bang on form.

Not a fresh vegetable to be seen! laugh

What a difference it makes when you're mid-40s, less than £300, full comp with business!

I'm sure it was delicious but I challenge anyone to photograph chili in a way that makes it look good.

Very 70s presentation. Would look better rice one side, meat sauce the other and then the cheese more finely grated

Those wings are the best frozen wings available in any supermarket for me. I always soak them in Frank’s Buffalo that you can get in the big bottles in Costco and then 50 mins in the oven at 165 and they come out great.

That’s exactly what’s going on here after you recommended the wings on one of the food threads, and I got a twin pack of the big bottles in Costco after a trial with a small one

Nice. I occasionally buy a 900kg/1kg box from the supermarket and eat them all. Mix up the seasonings- some madras powder, some hot sauce, some salt and pepper. Bloody lovely things.

Cheese and ham toasties tonight. Followed my a freezer raid and microwave chips find, and a bakewell tart. No pics I'm afraid biggrin
