Cheers, it's getting some use at the moment. Hope to get an Uuni plonked on it soon too.

Lady Jambo cooking this weekend - best thing to ever happen to a chicken in this house:

Spatchcocked, cooked with preserved lemons and harissa. Smokey aubergines with garlic on the side. Both out of a newly acquired Middle Eastern book - Persiana by Sabrina Ghayour - impressed so far!

Decided to try out the new cooked, frozen whole lobster that sainburys are stocking. I usually buy the uncooked frozen tails and have had a good experience with them. These are £11 each.

These ones were also smaller but tasted very nice. I cut them in half, knob of butter and wrapped in foil. i placed them on a baking tray and heated them at 180c in the fan oven for about 15mins.

Bit of fresh pasta, cherry tomato sauce with some basil. Grated cheese on the top. Served with a pizza garlic bread and white wine.

She didn’t want any roast, sooo....

The beef was some m&s jobby, said to cook for 50 mins, that was 30 with 10 rest, annoying! Far too over cooked.
Man what I would pay for that right now... my obsession with hot cross buns, (for my sins I always found tesco to be the best). Here in the US closest we have is cinnamon raisin bread...
