Miyazaki beef platter in Hiroshima. Incredible meat and even with several beers, various side dishes and a cheeky extra plate of beef at the end total bill under £100.

I'm very jealous. I love Japan, and I love Japanese food.

Here's a great recipe from a food channel I enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg58ao9Gwyw&ab...

Defo going to have a go at making it back at home. I think the only hurdle will be the sauce on the top but I am sure I can do something similar.

We have had it a few times now and this was kansai (sic?) style. I preferred the Hiroshima style but this was also really good.

Cheers yep will have a watch of that and give it a go.

We love all Japanese food. I have put on about a stone in 4 weeks. But they just bombard you with the food and every region, city, town, village has its own special thing you have to try and before you know it you are eating 5 meals a day haha.

You can buy the brown sauce from asian supermarkets.

Worth picking up Kewpie mayonnaise as well for real authenticity.

Got it from my fish man, he said it was an estuary lobster. No AI, just a filter from my phone.
