My favourite french 'pizza' but unlikely to win any awards due to there only being two toppings and a heavy weighting on the taste of anchovies. Just one or two guests who aren't fans of anchovy and the award delivery fails. Best eaten cold too. All, obviously, IMHO.JM

Now that definitely falls under the category of alternative!One takeaway I like used to offer a Persian pizza, can't recall the actual name annoyingly. It was a (to my experience/palate) uniquely spiced lamb mince with onions and broad beans. Quite nice.
