I can understand that, h0b0.
My eldest brother is in the Chicagoland area, so he did the turkey thing last month too. He cooks prime rib for Christmas. I can't even find that here.
Any snow left from earlier this week?
Have a good one!
We had a huge storm roll across America yesterday from Guatemala to the Northern parts of Canada. It brought higher temperatures and heavy rain which melted the foot of snow we did have. Our hopes of a white Christmas dashed. My eldest brother is in the Chicagoland area, so he did the turkey thing last month too. He cooks prime rib for Christmas. I can't even find that here.

Merry Christmas everyone.
Ours was the usual but came out pretty well and within 15 minutes of target time.
Turkey was really moist (6Kg) - roasted upside down with it turned the right way up and uncovered for the last hour, then left to rest for 1 hour (in a tray covered in foil, a towel, and an old quilt to keep it hot).
Stuffing home made from breadcrumbs chopped up from homemade bread, and sage from the garden with onions and sausagemeat.
