The Yoppoki one, is it rice cake or noodles or both? Looks very much like the one I tried a few posts up. Be good to compare the price with Srarry Asian Market thumbup
Rice cakes - tteokbokki- love them - almost bought a pack of fresh, but they're not cheap (in hindsight not expensive either but short shelf life).

I asked as I saw that Tesco (online) are doing the 120g packets for £1 each - worth buying a bowl wink

Both good, the yellow ones are surprisingly good too, the sachet of dried "cheese" adds loads of umami to the party.

Snap. Did you go in person or order online? I went to the Leeds branch in person this lunchtime, the car park was a tad tricky to find a space in. Decent range of bits, will definitely go back for more stuff

I love the noise it makes when you walk in the front door. It's obviously a Chinese version of "ding ding, there's someone on the shop" I'd love to know what it translates to in engrish.

I blame Trustmeimadoctor for this smile
In Watford we have a couple of small oriental supermarkets, the newer one does have a range of (not cheap alas) tteokbokki pots - these three cost me £9.70. There was also a tomato Yopokki one in a pink pot called the "Pink Rocket for the lovely girls" which I resisted.

Currently a big fan of these broad/wide noodles. Comes with lots of packets of stuff - 'erbs, soup, oils etc. Only problem is that once cooked the portions rather small, so I bulk it out with ramen or udon noodles. The wide noodles are lovely and chewy.
