I love that Laoganma stuff, never thought to put some in some instant ramen - is that what you do?

Yeah - it's good stuff & quite often gets added to savoury stews or some of the above pots in the thread or anything that it compliments - I wouldn't use it on any of the above list but maybe a little bit with the first one on the list.

Cheers, I've used it in stuff like stir fries, fried rice etc or as a condiment but never thought to try it in noodles. My wife isn't so keen on it so it doesn't get used much. Might grab some fairly run of the mill ramens and have some of that with them.

The middle bowl from my previous picture was a Toyo Suisan Marachun Instant Bowl Udon - Black Pork Curry Flavour (what a simple name). I say was as I had it yesterday lunch time. Expensive but rather nice and my worry about a 5 minute soak time was nothing to worry about as the noodles had a very nice level of chew. Also had a very nice taste as well.
Not the cheapest at £3.50, though presently down to £2.60 possibly due to expiry date.

Anyone here eat several at once? gotta admit noodles are probably one of those things (even stir fried), that i can wolf down a huge amount.

but it's nothing compared to some of these people who do mukbang, or make up their own challenges.

this girl makes up her own, has done them for years. 10 packets of noodles isnt a big deal to her
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUKc7XEG3UQ

then you have some of the weird people of YT like nick0 avocado. who'll just eat a tray of instant noodles. I can't imagine how a person must feel after eating so many, especially with all the flavour packets.

New favourite samyang noodles flavour, yakisoba. Still some heat but a really nice sweet sauce. Noodles are much thinner than usual too.

I recently discovered the Samyang Buldak noodles In Costco. Hot as balls! A real endurance test. So now I’m hooked. What’s the hottest offering from the brand. The ones I had were black pot.

You'll be wanting the 3x spicy hot chicken flavour then.
