We definitely need to see how bright red they were, you'll need to do a second round I'm afraid.

Just got a pack of these at one of my local Chinese supermarkets. Was the chewy noodle that appealed to me as I've now virtually used the last of my Nissin Raoh 30th Anniversary noodles (which are designed to be Tokyo style chewy). Actually rather liked these, the texture is great and there's no real difference in the noodle flavour. Soup is just a generic Korean chilli based thing.

Holy coincidence Noodleman!! I too had Potato Noodles yesterday. They came in that last order I posted the other day. Like you I've not had them before and was keen to try. Same view as you as well - really nice chewy texture, not much difference in flavour and the soup base was a bit wishy washy but not bad spice wise. Good value for money though.

Another new one for me............

Mushroom and Tofu Udon - lovely thick noodles, tofu lumps just soaked up the bland soup base. Had to add some crispy chili and anchovy stuff which made it work. I got their spicy chile version which should be better.

Bought some of the spicy sauce last week, its quite good.

They also do 3 or 4 Udon bowls.

Great for lunch in the office.

Tried this (new to me) the other day, nice but nothing special.

Followed prep instructions, but seemed to lack bite, if that makes sense.

^ ^ ^ Never understood the appeal of Kimchi, but then again, I guess an entire nation can’t be wrong.

thumbup Bit pricey but well worth it yum

Edit: Last jar I had was when Wifey went to Brecon and found a place that made their own (not available online) I left it in the cupboard unopened and about a week i heard a weird drip drip drip noise in the kitchen - opened the cupboard and saw a puddle of bubbling liquid on the bottom shelf. The lid was bulging and when I unscrewed the lid it was like Mount Vesuvius erupting yikes I didn't taste it rofl
