Not an event but struggled to get a pint for lass than £10.00 last year in Newyork.

The worst was £13.00 per pint of cr@p Stella in a restaurant at grand central station.

There are loads of places where you can pay less than that for a pint in NY.

It's less than that at some of the most popular craft breweries in Brooklyn.

I was there last week and paid only $13 for an Aperol spritz at the rooftop bar of a boutique hotel in Soho.

I think you're going to the wrong areas...

Camden Underworld for a gig yesterday evening - £13.50 for two pints of Brooklyn in thin plastic cups. Tasted ste.

Slightly cheaper for Carlsberg, which tasted much better.

To compare it was £6.25 for a pint of (guest) pale ale in the Brewdog pub, just round the corner, and £6.05 for a pint of Gamma Ray at the Railway oppo Liverpool Street.

£13 a pint at the Red Sox game in London the other week.

£50 for 4 shots in a club in London a few years ago.

It’s bloody expensive to go somewhere that you’re a captive audience.

Hope they don't get ideas for the coming PL season FFS.

It’s £9-13 a pint here in dubai, that range being heine to brewdog. I drink the latter. I love going abroad as even in the most rip off of tourist traps it’s still cheaper than here.

that said, €6 at tt Assen last week smarted as the beer was pish, 400ml cup of which 1/3 had to be froth. I don’t mind the price so much but really do mind a st pint.

You should have gone to the Yankees game smile

£16.01 on my card statement for two pints of Sam Adams there. Not sure where the .01 comes from...

€2700 for a 3l bottle of Belvedere and a Magnum of Moët in Puerto Banus was less offensive than my local (just outside Glasgow) now charging £5.45 for a pint of Peroni.

It was £6.50 for a pint or £13 for a two pinter when I was there on the Sunday game (crappy Amstel though, so still a rip off)

At the Glasgow Hydro £5.35 for a pint of gassy German froth.

How much are you prepared to pay before before you go " you cannot be serious ", or do you just pay up
because you don't want to be seen as a miserly, party pooping skinflint, or you have an alcohol problem ?
It’s money. You have to spend it eventually
