True, but when using Uber Eats - it's difficult to tell if it was the cab journey home or the food bill that cost the most (since they both display the same in my in box). okgo said:

A chicken shish on its own is just barbecued chicken, salad, and pitta. I doubt the chilli or garlic sauce have much in them either, and anyway, you don’t have much sauce. Yes, chips are the problem, but I’ve often grabbed a chicken shish on its own for lunch. You can also get a really nice roast aubergine dish at a decent kebab shop which is better than chips. vaud said:

Can you imagine a nationalized kebab service? Bloody thing would close at 5:30pm, only open 4 days a week (no weekends) and have 8 weeks off a year.W11PEL said:

That sounds like the sort of thing the ‘perma weightwatcher’ types (that infest just about every work environment known to man) would say. “I JUST DON’T GET IT. I don't know what kind of kebab establishments you frequent, but mine always seem to offer a generous side of oil, fat and grease accompanying any meat dish, including your most basic "grilled" chicken shish...AND I LOVE IT
