Those were phat kebabs so adjust accordingly.

10 minute pre-heat on an empty fryer at 200c. Pop kebabs in, 6 minutes at 180c, check and flip with tongs, another 6 minutes, check then a few more if needed to blacken them off a touch.
Isn't the point of an AirFryer that they get up to temperature really quickly?

A regular oven would be up to temp in 10 mins.

I use the pre heat on the plate to sear the meat on both sides, each to their own.

Instead of -
10 mins @ 200C pre heat
6 mins 180C cook

I would just try 220-240C 10-12 mins Depends on your model of Air Fryer

You will get that sear / char from the direct heat. No real need to preheat for a kebab.

My air frier goes from off to 200c in about 2 mins, any further preheating is just wasting electricity.

We have been home cooking for over 30 years and had 3 ovens in that time. Every one takes 15 minutes to reach 200C.

I spotted them in Morrisons the other day. Didnt buy them. Bought McCain Home Chips instead that cook in about 20 mins in the airfryer.
Might have to try these next time. scratchchin

Freshly cut Maris Pipers seem to work brilliantly in ours?

Fresh chips are the best.
Best to soak the potatoes in water first for at least 20 mins (longer the better) before airfrying
Make sure you dry the potatoes first though. Pat them dry between a couple of tea towels.
Toss them in a bit of oil and fry until crispy

Bearing in mind we have a slight different air fryer than the usual (were still on the ActiFry), ours goes:

Peel and chip spuds to taste.
Spray oil in bottom tray.
Put chips in, then another spray of oil and some seasoning.
Give them 20 mins they're perfect.

Then clean up the seasoning our air fryer jettisons out the side smile
