I went to McDonalds earlier. When the price was reduced, I thought, yes, that is more like it. It is how much the real price should actually be Greshamst said:
Of course I’m supporting my local independents during the dine in offer, but is anyone else finding it just too tempting to avoid McDonald’s at the moment during Mon- weds?
Two people on one page with the same meal Selects should always be half price and soooo many people would add them as a side to the main meal. Selects on their own, even 5, just don't feel like a McDonald's to me.brad93 said:
Had a awful hangover Sunday which i still have now but this slightly helped. Pepperoni and doner meat, crappy pizza shop chips which everyone secretly loves. Oh and it was buy one get one free so I had that too
This pizza looks great but one that needs to be eaten immediately - in my experience donner pizzas do not reheat well.SMG Eddie said:

Who reheats a takeaway pizza? Eat mine cold, next morning, in bed. Bosh.

I’d be lying if I said the inspiration for my visit wasn’t your post...Had to wait in all morning for a replacement fridge, so got to 2pm with a fridge that finally works, but no food... then this thread... hello McDonald’s.

I reheat mine in a wide pan on lowest heat (no oil), to gently warm it through for 10min (sometimes with a lid on, it varies), then I will crank up the heat for the last 30-60sec to get a little bit of a toasty crust on the underside. This works amazingly for papa johns pizzas, it makes them taste as good as when you just got them...sometimes even better becasue of the added crisp texture from the crust and base.
It doesn't work as well for pizza hut/domnos as it does papa johns, but it's still the best method for reheating pizza. If the pizza is deep pan/really thick then you can always chuck that same pan under a grill for afew minutes to heat the top too.

The top tier method I’ve seen, and had great success with requires a frying pan with a tight lid...I reheat mine in a wide pan on lowest heat (no oil), to gently warm it through for 10min (sometimes with a lid on, it varies), then I will crank up the heat for the last 30-60sec to get a little bit of a toasty crust on the underside. Put the pan on a medium-high heat, and pop your pizza in for 2 mins with the lid on, then pour 2 tablespoons of water in and quickly close the lid again. Leave for 2-3 mins.
The steam created by the water keeps the crust fluffy, heats the toppings and almost as good as it was.
