Is it a proper chicken patty or do they put 2 chicken mini fillet thingies in it, like some of the other rip off burgers?

First time ive had one in the UK yesteday and just like they have been in the US and elswhere..... 4/10 exactly the same as a zinger burger just without the cheese to cool it a bit. Its really about time in this country when we advertise something as being spicy that it actually is.

Yeah proper patty but its quite thin and overall the burger is quite small more like a slighty bigger hamburger than a quarter pounder.

Just tried the McCrispy for lunch. sttest burger ever..

As others have said it has more heat than a zinger and builds as you eat it. But its a dry heat with not much flavour. The chicken patty is a fillet and not a steak burger. Only that too is dry and bland. It's taste and texture was pretty much exactly the same as Iceland's breaded hot and spicy chicken fillet burgers. For £4.09 for a burger it's abit of a joke, if you want chicken go KFC and get a zinger burger, or if you're still ordering McDs get the BBQ bacon burger that's priced the same.

Never. again.

it's cheap mass produced food made from cheap mass produced raw ingredients cooked by people with no skill. What do you expect?

KFC do only produce one thing- chicken- so you'd think they'd be better at cooking it than McD. The stuff outside of their core chicken remit is generally awful. Case in point, KFC chips.

The KFC and Mcdonalds chicken burgers I have tried have all tasted cheap to me. Much prefer going to indies and chicken shops for them instead. The fillets are always bigger and taste nicer to me. Here are some recent ones.

Cheesy Rider from HFC in Hyde Park, Leeds which has added cheese and cheese rings -

Parmesan burger from Mr Ts in Leeds basically a portable heart attack -

Other recent junk includes the daft Costco pizza offer. I only managed a few slices of margherita and garlic bread

Some slightly phallic looking spicy fish with chips from Mother Hubbards in Bradford -

Back up home in Leeds for the weekend. Had my usual Chinese Thursday night - lastNight thought I’d try the LS6 Dutch fries place. Rocked up and by 8 o’clock they had sold out/closing up shop … bugger.

Found this place round the corner - Myphos. Mixed Chicken and Pork Gyros and Extra with loads of herbs (absolutely lovely). Only remembered to take a photo after I’d eaten most of it - was stuffed hence leaving the bread.

My effort to keep the N. Wales hospitality industry gliding along.

Large mixed kebab with a portion of chips and Mrs Jim’s naan, as she’s pretending to be on keto.

Rest assured, dear readers, that it was all very tasty.

Rumours of the palidity of my chips have been greatly exaggerated.
