Chicken with tomato and garlic, chicken crispy noodles, satay sauce and chicken curry spring rolls,
The chicken that came with crispy noodles had a slightly tinge of CSV to it ,
Was decent portions
Had some left overs which I planned for food tomorrow ,
That’s not gonna happen now I got up to get a can and polished the rest of it ,
Moving towards use of a serving platter instead of a plate is admirable. The chicken that came with crispy noodles had a slightly tinge of CSV to it ,

Who was that bloke who filed a pyrex dish to the brim?

Gravy? Looks like brown sauce.
it’s more like tar, could definitely sort out some roads with that stuff!! you feel it sticking to your ribs on the way down! malks222 said:

I preferred them after a few hours when the gravy had congealed to the chips like treacle. There's a Chinese in the next street to my house, gravy is too thin and the chips aren't the Chinese type I remember. That and a gravy chip is 4.85

Friday night - was meant to be having a Nepalese curry - but change of plans - Thai takeaway eaten in the premier inn north Warrington. The Thai chicken salad (below no smoking sign) was one of those where the heat just kept building !! Was bloody lovely.
Nice looks good, always prefer those Thai prawn crackers to the Chinese variants which bare more semblance to Polystyrene, got some proper backbone to them and a nice kick of flavour too romeodelta said:

Food looks good (not dirty), but that’s one of the most depressing things I’ve ever read bobclayton said:
Does anybody have any recommendations for takeaways in Preston that I could sample tonight? I'm completely alien to the area.
If you’re in the town centre the KFC is the oldest one in the UK and the first I’ve ever opened in this country there are pictures or sanders standing outside it on the walls inside. sutoka said:
Had many of these in my late teens in Belfast, very much the end of night Belfast version of a Donor Kebab. Used to be a place on Dublin Road called the Emerald then the 'new' Emerald when they gave it a lick of paint. The chef used to scream order numbers out like a battle call until 3am, organised chaos. How that place got a 1 star rating by the Food Standard agency I don't know, think it's closed down now anyway. They actually did some fairly exotic food but sold about 300 gravy chips.

£4.85?, for treacle coated chips? Is it the same over the other side of the wall?I preferred them after a few hours when the gravy had congealed to the chips like treacle.
