I think it appears as salt and chilli mixed starters on the menu. It's a kind of munchy box I guess, but haven't seen one down here before. Chips with bits of deep fried meat, chicken wings etc. In a pizza box. 1 Square foot of food.

And, yeah, very thirsty this morning, but I will order it again.

We got a cheeky McDs for lunch, nothing too exciting. I laughed at the nick of my partner’s big mac though.

We’ve been cooking all week so time for a break, so the local Chinese restaurant will suffice. Mixed meat/veg thing, crispy chicken chunks, fried noodles, brick of plain rice and some sauces. Giant spring roll starters didn’t survive long enough for the photo

This lot was fkin awesome, I hope this new place is not a 5 minute wonder ,chips were proper as described hand cut jobbies,was on the fence with doughnut burger but again also awesome ,I probably didn’t need frickles ,corn dogs and slaw as I’m now fked , can’t even do another beer YET,

the fad is about 5-6+ years old (older than ramen buns) . but yeah. there was a time when even morrisons sold glazed donut chicken burgers.

I admire the filth of a donut burger but not sure if I could go for one myself, sounds awfully sweet and stodgy. Fair play if that's your thing, I'm more a large amount of salty chilli nibbles kind of guy.

Which is why there's a salt and chilli box on the way

The (claimed) original was just one Krispy Kreme glazed donut split like a burger bun. At a stadium in Chicago I think, saw it on an ep of Man vs Food years ago.

The ones that use two donuts seem like too much cake to me.
