A lunch box from a chippy in Telford.

Decent value for £4.49 - cod bite, sausage, loads of chips and a small pot of gravy
that's incredible value these days.
They do a box meal with two of the cod bites, chips and sauce for £4.99 which is proven better value

Went all the way to Swansea Friday after work to try a new kebab shop out ,
Tried a mix grill in nann,
Lamb chops, shish, drumsticks, kofte, all Cooke in red stuff, was very filling, after eating everything with bones ,or so I thought,I then folded up and and ate it like burrito, nearly cutting my cheek on the piece of lamb chop bone left in there ,

Will go again to try a mixed Donner as the chicken looked good ,
An hour each way trip though all in the aid of science

Pizza.

Apparently, the driver had been cornering on the door handles and was still late.

Wasn't all that great.

Chips, cheese, chicken and doner with a load of salad and sauce as a lunch time treat.

I spent the following hour listening to a finance meeting whilst trying not to nod off in the hottest meeting room on planet earth......

Seven quid.

Curry this evening - started off with an enormous bag of poppadoms with all the usual chutneys.

Couple of Chicken Pakora with standard luminous green sauce.

Then King Prawn Dopiaza with rice and cheese and garlic naan.

King Prawns were enormous and sauce was pretty tasty - of all those pictures all that's left is a little sauce....

Not had a filthy takeaway in ages

Beef barbecoa burrito and enchiladas
Spicy chicken quesadilla
Plain quesadilla

Spot on, wife would have ordered no onion if it had been specified as having onion in

Somebody snook into shot

chilli special pizza from a new place, I've never had a tub of chilli sauce with a pizza before confused

So, I drizzled it over the last slice. The cheese/sauce combo was glorious. I now know why some people will put cheese on a doner kebab.

the rest of my evening mostly consisted of thirst and heartburn.

A couple of places in Harrogate serve 'Chicken Parmesan', though they resemble more of a cheesy scab then a proper Parmo and seem to be devoid of Bech' which rules them out in my book.
Better than nothing. Any suggestions?

I was supposed to go up and see a freind this weekend who moved to Harrogate. Trouble is I think I have broken my left big toe and had to cancel . Suggestions would be great for my next trip.
To be honest with you, i'm reluctant to suggest anything from within Harrogate itself - the best I have found within a short distance has been from The Fox & Hounds in Langthorpe, just outside Boroughbridge. The kitchen there is operated Monday-Saturday by a 'Boro chap, who knocks a decent Parmo together: https://www.bozzafodder.co.uk/ - the benefit of this being that the drive back via Knaresborough is along some decent country roads, traffic conditions allowing driving Whilst the Parmo isn't as good as i've had from 'the motherland', it's the best i've found in the area and more than passable should the trek up the A19 not appeal; might be worth asking for fries with your order if you're not a fan of homemade chips.

Aside from that, there is a restaurant in town called 'Portofino', they had a chef from 'Boro who could pull off a decent Parmo, however last time I went he'd vacated the premises and the Parmo was subsequently st, so i've not bothered trying it again. Do not under any circumstances order a Parmo (or anything else for that matter) from Bambino's, place needs burning down for their afront to Parmos.
Just come back from Harrogate and went for a Sunday roast at So! Bar and Eats https://sobarandeats.co.uk/
Chef absolutely nailed the roast, best I have had for years so confident that they can knock up a cecent Parmo so will try that next time.
